Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on the 21st of September the 21st of September 1983 in Worthington Ohio, USA is an American actor. She is best known for playing Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills respectively on ABC's Lost television series. After her parents' divorce, she left Worthington in Ohio and moved with her family in Los Angeles. She was struggling to make ends meet and was offered her first part in the acting world in the film Rachel's Room's leading character. She went on to earn a Young Artist Award nomination in 2002 with her portrayal of 15-year-old murder victim Martha Moxley in the television movie Murder in Greenwich. Grace Rutherford was the character Shannon Rutherford for Lost's first two seasons of 2004 as well as sharing with her a Screen Actors Guild Award (with other cast members) alongside her. Grace quit the show in 2005 to focus on a more significant role in films, having appeared in the film Taken alongside Tom Welling as Kim Mills in the film Taken. The following year, she starred as a character in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club and also, as Liam Neeson's Kim Mills as Kim Mills in Taken. She reprised her role for Taken 2 (2011) and Taken 3 (2013).She also played Alice in Malice in Wonderland, a contemporary adaptation from the Lewis Carroll novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace performed the role of Shannon again in Lost's finale episode, as well as two additional episodes. In 2013, she appears in Californianation, the 6th Season. Other roles she has played include the role of a Secret Service agent in the action-thriller White House Down (2013) and a musician in Frank (2014) as well as her role as the lead in the film The Kindergarten Teacher (2018). Gyllenhaal began her career as screenwriter, director and writer in the year 2021 when she wrote and directed The Lost Daughter, a psychological drama. The Lost Daughter. The film was awarded Best Screenplay at The Venice International Film Festival, and was also nominated for the Academy Award.
